MSU forestry alums plan grand reunion
MISSISSIPPI STATE -- Newly elected officers for Mississippi State University's College of Forest Resources alumni are planning a "grand" 50th reunion for July 31.
Throughout the day, groups will tour campus locations such as the newly renovated Montgomery Hall, the Forest Products Lab, the wildlife holding pens and aquaculture unit. MSU baseball coach Ron Polk will be the guest speaker during the evening banquet in the Bost Extension Center.
Registration for the "Grand Reunion Celebration" is $10 per family, and the banquet is $10 per adult and $5 per child under 12. Other cost options include a box lunch, reunion shirts and class photos.
The new officers for MSU's forestry alumni society are president Curtis "Skip" McCollough of Purvis, first vice president Brian Reed of Columbus, second vice president and northwest district representative Charles Dismukes of Vaiden and secretary-treasurer Christy Payne of Philadelphia. District representatives include Tom Morgan of Pontotoc, Steve Smith of Leakesville, Chad Smith of Brookhaven, Brian Reed of Columbus and George Paris Jr. of Brandon.
