Workshops offered for wild game processors
STARKVILLE, Miss. -- Wild game processors can learn the best food safety practices at a free workshop offered in three different locations.
“Sanitation, Safety and Risk Reduction Practices for Wild Game Processors” will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m.:
- March 29 in Grenada at the MSU Extension Service office in Grenada County.
- April 19 in Brandon at the MSU Extension Service office in Rankin County.
- April 26 in Hattiesburg at the MSU Extension Service office in Forrest County.
The workshop will help processors improve the safety of workers, products and consumers while emphasizing sanitation practices that reduce product contamination.

Special funds from MSU and Rebel Butcher Supply Co. allow these workshops to be offered at no charge.
