This initiative is brought to you by the Mississippi Coastal Cleanup Program of Mississippi State University in partnership with the Gulf Islands National Seashore. During this intensive event, volunteers will be collecting trash and recording data on what kind of trash is collected on a predetermined portion of the island.

Volunteers will meet at the Pascagoula Point Boat Launch at 8:30 a.m. and will return to the boat launch by 1pm. Transportation to the island will be provided by Charter-for-hire boat captains. Boats WILL DEPART by 9 a.m. Volunteers must be on board at 9 a.m.
