Nurturing Parenting

The Nurturing Parenting program is a family-centered, trauma-informed initiative to build nurturing parenting skills.

Target Audience(s):

Parents of young children, including teen parents and expectant mothers; parents under court order to participate in a parenting program

Objectives:

Participants will:

• Learn developmentally appropriate parenting practices and strategies,
• Learn developmentally appropriate discipline strategies, and
• Create strategies for self-care to promote positive parenting strategies.
