Registration is open for Cloverbud Robotics camp
MISSISSIPPI STATE -- Children with an interest in robots, snow and problem-solving are invited to a robotics camp at Mississippi State University.
The Cloverbud Robotics camp, a program of the MSU Extension Service and 4-H Robotics, is for students from age 5 to 8. The camp will be July 6-8 from 8 a.m. to noon each day at the Bost Conference Center.
The theme for this year’s camp is “Snow-tastrophe: A Robotics Camp for the Not so Faint of Heart.” Participants will use their problem-solving skills to find out how an inventor’s failed experiment led to a snowstorm. They will then program robots to clean up the mess.
Registration will close after the 25 available spots are filled. The $60 registration fee includes a parent/child pizza luncheon at 11:30 a.m. July 8. Parents are advised to pack lunches for the first two days of the program.
